§30-29-3. Duties of the Subcommittee

(a) The subcommittee shall, by or pursuant to rules proposed for legislative approval in accordance with 29A-3-1 et seq. of this code: (1) Provide funding for the establishment and support of law-enforcement training academies in the state;

§30-29-1. Definitions

For the purposes of this article, unless a different meaning clearly appears in the context: (1) “Approved law-enforcement training academy” means any training facility which is approved and authorized to conduct law-enforcement training as provided in this article;

§30-29-2. Law-Enforcement Professional Standards Subcommittee

(a) The Law-Enforcement Professional Standards Subcommittee is continued as a subcommittee of the Governor's Committee on Crime, Delinquency and Correction.
