§32B-4-1. Severability of Provisions

If any provision of this chapter or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, then the invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the chapter that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application. To this end, the provisions of this chapter are severable.

§32B-4-2. Saving Provisions

(a) Prior law exclusively governs all suits, actions, prosecutions or proceedings that are pending or may be initiated on the basis of facts or circumstances occurring before the effective date of this chapter, except that no civil suit or action may be maintained to enforce any liability under prior law unless brought within the period […]
