Section 25-4-121

Maximization of unemployment compensation benefits during a statewide state of emergency.

THIS SECTION WAS REPEALED IN THE 2022 REGULAR SESSION BY ACT 2022-197 EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2022. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT.

(a) If the Governor or the Legislature proclaims a statewide state of emergency pursuant to Section 31-9-8, the Alabama Department of Labor shall work with the federal government in maximizing unemployment compensation benefits.

(b) The Alabama Department of Labor shall adopt rules as necessary to implement this section.
