361.040. Director — appointment — term of office. — The director of finance shall be appointed by the governor, by and with the advice and consent of the senate, and shall hold his office at the pleasure of the governor.

Revisor’s Note: Under section 620.010, the director of the division of finance was nominated by the director of the department of economic development and appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate. That language in section 620.010 was repealed in 2008.
