38-7-3.1. Direction and supervision by Division of Resource Conservation and Forestry–Independent functions retained by commission.
The State Conservation Commission shall be administered under the direction and supervision of the Division of Resource Conservation and Forestry of the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the director thereof, but shall retain the quasi-judicial, quasi-legislative, advisory, other nonadministrative and special budgetary functions (as defined in §1-32-1) otherwise vested in it and shall exercise those functions independently of the director of the Division of Resource Conservation and Forestry.
