Section 404 – Certification of eligible municipality.

• (1) The office shall certify each year, on or after July 1 and before the first meeting of the homelessness council after July 1, the municipalities that meet the requirements of a first-tier eligible municipality or a second-tier eligible municipality as of July 1.

• (2) On or before October 1, the office shall provide a list of the municipalities that the office has certified as meeting the requirements of a first-tier eligible municipality or a second-tier eligible municipality for the year to the State Tax Commission.
