Semen may not be donated for use in artificial insemination by any person who:
(1) Has any disease or defect known by the person to be transmissible by genes; or
(2) Knows or has reason to know that the person has a sexually transmitted infection. [1977 c.686 §4; 2019 c.280 §14; 2019 c.456 §4]
