(1) The Department of Transportation may levy and collect a civil penalty in the amount of $1,000 for each violation against any person who violates ORS 822.500 or 822.525.
(2) Civil penalties under this section shall be imposed in the manner provided in ORS 183.745. [2001 c.727 §3]
