§ 37-133-1. Short title

In addition to all other powers and duties now vested by law in the board of trustees of state institutions of higher learning of the State of Mississippi, said board is hereby empowered and required to permit the establishment of technical institutes, as branches within the framework of the existing state institutions of higher learning, […]
There is hereby created in the state treasury a special fund to be known as the “technical institute fund.” All sums of money received by the board of trustees of state institutions of higher learning to carry out the provisions of the Mississippi Technical Institute Law of 1964 shall be maintained in said special fund. It shall be the duty of the board of trustees of state institutions of higher learning to make periodic fiscal reports to the state fiscal management board and the legislative budget office, and to otherwise comply with the budget and accounting laws of the state of Mississippi.
