§ 43-61-1. Short title

This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the “Mississippi Seniors and Indigents Rx Program.”

§ 43-61-3. Definitions

As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: “Department” means the Department of Human Services. “Program” means the Mississippi Seniors and Indigents Rx Program established in this chapter.

§ 43-61-7. Assistance to seniors and indigents in accessing pharmaceutical manufacturers’ discount cards and pharmaceutical assistance programs; assistance with applications to programs

Subject to appropriation for the program, the department may provide assistance to persons determined to be eligible for services authorized by this chapter. The department may seek and receive voluntary monies from any sources, including federal funds and gifts, which shall be expended for the purposes specified in this chapter.
