§ 32-2243 – Examination

32-2243. Examination The board shall adopt rules and regulations governing the written examinations and practical demonstrations by which all applicants shall be tested and shall provide for giving reasonable notice of the time and place for examinations.

§ 32-2244 – Certificate

32-2244. Certificate An applicant who passes the examination prescribed by the board, on payment of the fee established by the board within one year after passing the examination, shall receive a certificate in a form prescribed by the board.

§ 32-2245 – Certified veterinary technician; services; rules and regulations

32-2245. Certified veterinary technician; services; rules and regulations A. The board shall adopt rules and regulations pertaining to and limiting the services performed by a certified veterinary technician. B. Services performed by a certified veterinary technician shall not include surgery, diagnosis or prognosis of animal diseases or prescribing of drugs and medicine.

§ 32-2246 – Duration of certificate

32-2246. Duration of certificate A certificate issued pursuant to this article shall expire on December 31 of every even-numbered year unless suspended or revoked. On payment of the renewal fee, a certificate is renewed for a period of two years.
