Section 16-21-30 – Short Title.

Section 16-21-30 Short title. This article shall be known and may be cited as the Alabama Virtual Library Act. (Act 2009-575, p. 1687, §1.)

Section 16-21-34 – Adoption of Rules; Membership of Council.

Section 16-21-34 Adoption of rules; membership of council. (a) The council may adopt rules to govern its proceedings according to the Administrative Procedure Act. (b) The council membership shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of this state. (Act 2009-575, p. 1687, §5.)

Section 16-21-35 – Educational Entity; Funding.

Section 16-21-35 Educational entity; funding. The Alabama Virtual Library as currently administered is recognized and established as an educational entity for public school students. The Alabama Virtual Library may receive allocations from the Education Trust Fund Rainy Day Account pursuant to Amendment 709 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901. (Act 2004-386, p. 642, §1.)
