Section 45-5-11 Cost-of-living adjustment for supernumerary county officers. Beginning October 1, 2007, each supernumerary county officer, or his or her surviving spouse, if applicable, shall receive the same percentage cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) to income as the COLA provided for county employees, payable from the county general fund.
