Sec. 2. The notice of intention to explore and the application for written permission to explore as required by section 1 of this chapter must include the following: (1) A description of the exploration area. Sec. 3. The commission shall adopt rules to do the following: (1) Establish a procedure for application for permission to conduct a coal exploration operation. Sec. 4. Information concerning trade secrets or privileged commercial or financial information relating to the competitive rights of the person or entity intending to explore the described area that is submitted to the director under this chapter is confidential and not available for public examination.
