35-44.1-5-5. Exceptions Involving the Care of a Child

Sec. 5. A person who transports, moves, or cares for a child (as defined in IC 35-47-10-3) who is an alien does not violate this chapter as a result of transporting, moving, or caring for the child. As added by P.L.126-2012, SEC.54.

35-44.1-5-7. Authority to Impound Certain Vehicles

Sec. 7. A law enforcement officer shall impound a motor vehicle, other than a motor vehicle used in public transportation and owned or operated by the state or a political subdivision, that is used to commit a violation of section 3 or 4 of this chapter. As added by P.L.126-2012, SEC.54.
