Subsection B. Relations Between the Principal and Third Persons Art. 3020. Obligations of the principal to third persons The principal is bound to perform the contract that the mandatary, acting within the limits of his authority, makes with a third person. Art. 3021. Putative mandatary One who causes a third person to believe that another person is his mandatary is bound to the third person who in good faith contracts with the putative mandatary. Acts 1997, No. 261, §1, eff. Jan. 1, 1998.
