In this subtitle, “hearing aid” means: (1) Any instrument or device that is designed for or represented as being capable of improving or correcting impaired human hearing; or (2) Any part or accessory of the instrument or device.
The provisions of this subtitle are in addition to any other provision of law.
(a) The seller of a hearing aid must bill any fee for diagnostic tests separately from any charges for the purchase and fitting of a hearing aid. (b) A separately billed fee for a diagnostic test is not subject to refund under § 14-2503 of this subtitle.

Violation of this subtitle is: (1) An unfair or deceptive trade practice; and (2) Subject to the provisions of Title 13 of this article.
