(a) A person making a door-to-door solicitation for any purpose shall comply with this subtitle. (b) Violation of this subtitle shall be an unfair or deceptive trade practice. (c) Any payment, pledge, or promise made as a result of a solicitation made in violation of this subtitle is voidable by the consumer.
(a) (1) When making a door-to-door solicitation, a solicitor may not accept or receive, at the time the solicitation is made, any money, check, or other negotiable instrument, or any other consideration.
