Section 4-1301 – Definitions

    (a)    In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.     (b)    “Executive Director” means the Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services.     (c)    “Fund” means the Student Peer Mediation Program Fund.     (d)    “Student peer mediation program” means a program that trains students in conflict resolution.

Section 4-1302 – Student Peer Mediation Program Fund

    (a)    There is a Student Peer Mediation Program Fund.     (b)    The purpose of the Fund is to provide grant assistance to schools and community–based organizations in Baltimore City to establish student peer mediation programs to reduce juvenile violence.     (c)    The Executive Director shall administer the Fund.     (d)    (1)    The Fund is a special, nonlapsing fund that is not subject to […]
