Section 1 – Purpose of Chapter

Section 1. The purpose of this chapter is to provide a program of group life insurance, group accidental death and dismemberment insurance for certain persons in the service of the commonwealth, and group general or blanket hospital, surgical, medical, dental and other health insurance for such persons and their dependents.
