NRS 702.010 – Definitions.
As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, the words and terms defined in NRS 702.020 to 702.100, inclusive, have the meanings ascribed to them in those sections. (Added to NRS by 2001, 3231)

“Calendar quarter” means each period of 3 consecutive calendar months ending on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 in each calendar year. (Added to NRS by 2001, 3231)
“Commission” means the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada. (Added to NRS by 2001, 3231)
“Division of Welfare and Supportive Services” means the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services of the Department of Health and Human Services. (Added to NRS by 2001, 3232)
“Housing Division” means the Housing Division of the Department of Business and Industry. (Added to NRS by 2001, 3231)
“Municipal utility” includes, without limitation: 1. A utility established pursuant to chapter 709 or 710 of NRS. 2. Any other utility that is owned, operated or controlled by a county, city or other local governmental entity. (Added to NRS by 2001, 3231)
“Person” means: 1. A natural person; 2. Any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity, including, without limitation, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization; 3. A government or an agency or instrumentality of a government, including, without limitation, this state or an agency or instrumentality of this state; […]
