§ 1. Creation Pursuant to 24 V.S.A. chapter 121, subchapter 3, and upon approval of at least two voting municipalities, a union municipal district to be known as the “Addison County Solid Waste Management District” (the “District”), which shall be a body politic and corporate, shall be created.
§ 2. Purpose The District is created and shall exist for the purpose of providing a comprehensive system for managing solid waste generated within the member municipalities. § 4. Duration The District shall continue as a body politic and corporate unless and until dissolved according to the procedures set forth in this chapter.
