10B-134.7. (Effective July 1, 2023) Authority to perform remote electronic notarial acts.
(a) A remote electronic notary may perform a remote electronic notarial act authorized under this Part only while the remote electronic notary is physically located in this State.
(b) A remote electronic notarization performed by a remote electronic notary of this State under this Part is governed by the laws of this State. (2022-54, s. 1.)
